Farm at Home Coir Mats are a 100% natural weed deterrent used to cover the soil around the base of a plant/tree. These mats protect the area around the roots of plants from the development of harmful weeds. They are made of pure coconut coir that provides excellent water retention and keeps roots from drying up.
Farm at Home Coir Mats are aesthetically pleasing, provide protection and over a period of time, completely break down and become part of the soil, thus providing the plant with more nutrients that can be easily absorbed.

Farm at Home Coir Mats can be used for all kinds of plants and trees. It gives a neat appearance to gardens, lawns and orchards
Remove weeds around base of the young tree trunk and the stems of shrubs and bushes. Wet the soil and pat down firmly around the plant so that there is no loose soil and there is a flat surface.
Place Farm at Home Coir Mat around the base of the plant covering the root area of soil around the plant.
Watering and mowing can be done directly above the mats themselves. There is no need to move the mat once it is installed.
